The S6500 diesel generator delivers 5.9 kVA / 5.3 kW emergency standby and 4.8 kVA / 4.4 kW continuous power at 230 V, 50 Hz single phase, 0.9 power factor, from a Yanmar L100N engine with electric start. The 435 cm³ air cooled diesel runs at 3000 RPM with mechanical governor and a 1.6 litre oil capacity, driving a brushless class H, IP23, two pole alternator with capacitor voltage regulation.

The 24 litre tank runs 16.44 hours at 75% load and 12.37 hours at 100%, using 1.46 litres per hour at 75%. At 114 kg dry and 840 x 641 x 696 mm it shares the S Series roll bar frame with removable side covers, two solid rubber wheels and a folding handle.

The CONN DPP control panel carries a keyed off/on/start selector, a connector for the optional AMF automatic mains failure panel or RSS wireless remote start/stop, digital voltmeter, hours counter and frequency meter, with a circuit breaker, differential protection (DPP), a 10 A DC fuse, low oil pressure protection and a 12 V 10 A battery charger output. Outlets are three AS/NZS 3112 15 A 250 V sockets. Transport kits with fixed or folding handles are available.

What is the CONN connector for?

CONN models carry a connector on the control panel for the optional AMF automatic mains failure panel or the RSS wireless remote start/stop. The AMF panel monitors the mains, starts the generator and transfers the load when the supply fails, then stops the set when the grid returns. The RSS gives wireless start and stop from up to 90 metres.
