Pramac GRW Series Rental Diesel Generators
The GRW Series is Pramac’s mobile generator range built for hire fleets, construction, events and industry – anywhere a robust set has to be moved, dropped, plugged in and run. Six canopy sizes from 22 to 565 kVA with Stage 3A Yanmar, Perkins and Volvo engines, a long-autonomy metal tank, single-point lifting and a full scope of protection as standard, then configured with the sockets, panels and add-ons your fleet needs.

Designed for mobile and rental work
Long lasting, fast to service and fast to install: the GRW is designed around the three things a hire fleet needs, with safety to ISO 8528 and an IP23 zinc-plated enclosure that shrugs off site life.

Hot parts protected as standard
Metal grids over the engine's hot parts and a glass-fibre insulated exhaust manifold protect operators from contact and keep heat out of the enclosure.

Breaker trips when the power door opens
A switch on the power section door trips the circuit breaker, so cables are connected and disconnected on a dead busbar every time.

Single-point lift, forklift pockets
A single roof lifting eye on a bridge fixed to the base frame, plus forklift pockets and anchor points – fast, safe loading and unloading.

Control panel on the short side
From GRW95P the panel sits on the short side, so two sets stand side by side with all the controls facing the operator – the classic events set-up.

Engine room sealed off from the panel
Total segregation between engine and control panel means no noise breakout when the panel is open while the set is running.

External tank connection built in
A six-way fuel valve is standard, so an external tank can feed the set for long jobs; quick couplings are an option. The metal tank has a filler on each side.

Washable, fireproof soundproofing
Polyurethane foam that can be hosed down, behind metal door grids, keeps noise low and survives years of construction-site dirt. Document holder inside as standard.

Leroy Somer alternator, humid-climate protection
Every GRW uses a Leroy Somer LSA alternator with AREP excitation, D350 digital AVR and Winding Protection System 2 for tropical environments above 95 % humidity.
Six canopy sizes, 22 to 565 kVA
Every GRW Stage 3A is built on one of six canopies – Alfa, Alfa Plus, Beta, Beta Plus, Epsilon and Zeta – with Yanmar, Perkins or Volvo Penta engines and Leroy Somer alternators. Ratings are Emergency Standby Power (ESP) at 50 Hz, 400 V three-phase; expand a card for the models, breaker sizes and run times on the built-in tank.

A Parker Racor water-separating fuel filter fitted ahead of the engine's own filters. It strips water, dirt, rust, algae and varnish out of the fuel before it reaches the injection system – strongly recommended for hire sets that run on fuel of unknown quality.
- Parker Racor 500FG10 on Yanmar, Perkins 1104D and Volvo engines
- Parker Racor 1000FH10 on Perkins 1106D engines (Beta Plus)
- Protects against dirt, rust, algae, asphaltenes, varnish and water

Heavy-Duty Air Filter
A larger heavy-duty air cleaner that lets the set work in dusty environments – construction sites, mines, quarries – while stretching out the filter service intervals.
- Donaldson D080069 (Alfa), D090073 (Alfa Plus, Beta), D100384 (Beta Plus), D140078 (Zeta)
- Epsilon (Volvo TAD135x) already has a Donaldson D10012x heavy-duty filter as standard

Not available on Yanmar (Alfa) sets. Cannot be combined with QFC.

Draining Baseframe Pump
A manual pump for emptying any liquid that has collected in the leak-proof tray of the base frame. A selector switch lets the same pump drain the engine oil, so it doubles as the oil drain pump at service time.
- Manual pump for the base frame leak-proof tray
- Switchable to engine oil draining
Exhaust options
Spark arrestor and air shut-off valve for hazardous areas.
2 options

Exhaust Spark Arrestor
An ATEX-certified spark arrestor on the exhaust outlet that traps hot carbon particles and stops flammable debris being ejected – a mandatory safety item on mine sites, oil and gas, petrochemical, timber and agricultural sites where combustible material, gases or dust may be present.
- Indemar WT2L150SS (Yanmar), WT2L175SS (Perkins), Bastelli PAE171 (Volvo)
- ATEX certified; allows operation in ATEX zones
- Genset noise level may vary by ±4 dB(A) with ESA fitted

Air Shut-Off Valve
An automatic air intake shut-off valve that stops a runaway diesel. If flammable vapour is drawn into the intake the engine can overspeed uncontrollably; the spring-actuated valve blocks the intake completely, starving the engine of both air and the uncontrolled fuel source. Specified for oil and gas, petrochemical and mining sites.
