Portable Lighting Towers for Any Site
Light towers from OZWIDE deliver powerful, reliable illumination for mine sites, construction, civil works, events and emergency operations. The range runs from a 12,000 lumen solar street light up to a 345,600 lumen diesel lighting tower, with coverage to 12,600 m² at one lux, so there is a machine to suit the site, the fuel preference, the noise limit and the budget.
Choosing between them usually comes down to two questions: how long it has to run unattended, and how quiet it has to be.
Diesel
Proven power for continuous, round-the-clock lighting. Low voltage 48V DC models run their floodlights at up to 180 lumens per watt, around 25 percent more light than a mains voltage machine draws the same fuel to produce. Road trailer and compact site frame options. The workhorse choice for mining and civil projects.

Hybrid
A battery pack carries the load and the engine starts only to recharge, which cuts fuel burn, servicing and engine hours. Completely silent at 0 dB(A) on battery. Add solar panels and the interval between refuels stretches further again. Suits night works near housing and any site with a noise limit.

Solar
Zero emission, silent, no refuelling and no cabling. Two machines, sized to the job. The VT-Solar Hydraulic Hyper gives 60,000 lumens over 2,800 m² from three 400 Wp panels and an 11.5 kWh battery, on a road trailer with a hydraulic 8.2 metre mast, for lighting work areas. The LP Solar Street Light is a compact self-igniting unit with a darkness sensor and motion sensor, built for car parks, footpaths, walkways and temporary access.

* Maximum run times are measured with the lamps dimmed to 25 percent. On the GLT4-A Hybrid Solar the figure also assumes the photovoltaic panels are correctly oriented, and will vary with latitude and weather. At full output the interval between refuels is considerably shorter. Tell us the hours you need lit and we will give you a realistic figure for your site.
