The GPW85P diesel generator delivers 90.9 kVA / 72.7 kW emergency standby and 82.3 kVA / 65.8 kW prime power from a Perkins 1104D-E44TAG1, a four cylinder, 4.4 litre, turbocharged, water-cooled Stage IIIA engine running at 1500 RPM with electronic governor. Output is delivered through a brushless Mecc Alte ECP32-2L4 C alternator in series star at 400/230 V, 50 Hz, three phase, 0.8 power factor, with class H insulation, IP23 protection, 90% efficiency at full load and voltage regulation held inside 1%. Nominal current is 119 A behind a 125 A circuit breaker.

The canopy version is a weatherproof galvanised sheet metal enclosure with residential silencer and high quality soundproofing, giving 68 dB(A) at 7 metres and a guaranteed sound power level of 97 dB(A). Large lockable lateral doors open the unit up for service, and the welded steel baseframe carries anti-vibration mountings, screwed support legs, a crane handling hole and a single-point lifting bridge on the roof. The canopy measures 2757 x 1120 x 1846 mm and weighs 1446 kg. A Canopy Extra Silent version with additional soundproofing modules is available at 64 dB(A) at 7 metres, measuring 2757 x 1120 x 2438 mm and 1631 kg.

Which control panel comes with a GPW generator?

GPW sets are supplied with either the MRS manual remote start panel, which adds an automatic mains failure start function, three phase mains measurement and a 50 event log, or the ACP automatic control panel with full AMF operation, detailed event and performance logging and optional remote control and I/O expansion modules. Specify the panel when ordering.

What enclosure versions are available?

Every GPW model is available as a standard canopy with residential silencer and galvanised weatherproof sheet metal, or as a Canopy Extra Silent version with additional soundproofing modules for city centre and noise-restricted sites.

How long will the GPW85P run on a full tank?

At 75% prime power it runs 20.93 hours on the 350 litre 8PFT internal tank, 20.93 hours on the 350 litre MFT-S internal tank and 29.90 hours on the 500 litre MFT-M sub-base tank. Fuel consumption is 16.72 litres per hour at 75% load and 20.38 litres per hour at 100% load.

Is an automatic transfer switch (ATS) included?

No. An automatic transfer switch is not included unless it is listed in the product description above. Ozwide Power can supply a correctly rated ATS with the generator, so ask for a package price when you enquire.
