Pramac GRW67P – 60 kVA Hybrid Diesel Generator with 24 kWh Battery
The GRW67P hybrid generator (GRW67P/S3A HY 30/24Li) is a compact hybrid diesel generator and battery energy storage system designed to deliver reliable, efficient temporary power for applications with variable load demand. The unit integrates a 60 kVA Perkins diesel generator, a 30 kVA hybrid power module (bidirectional inverter), and a 24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack within a single sound-attenuated enclosure.
This hybrid architecture enables the generator to operate in multiple intelligent modes, allowing the system to power loads using batteries, the diesel engine, or a combination of both. By prioritising battery operation during low load conditions and engaging the diesel generator only when required, the GRW67P hybrid significantly reduces fuel consumption, noise emissions, and operating costs while maintaining high power availability.
The system is designed for demanding temporary power environments including construction sites, industrial operations, and event power, where load profiles fluctuate throughout the day. The integrated Hybrid Power Module (HPM) manages power conversion and synchronisation between the generator and battery storage, enabling seamless load sharing and peak-load support.
The lithium battery system provides 24 kWh of storage capacity across four 6 kWh packs, with approximately 3000 cycles at 80 % depth of discharge, enabling extended battery-only operation and reduced generator runtime. During peak demand periods, the battery can provide boost power in conjunction with the generator, allowing the hybrid system to deliver up to 82 kVA (70 kW) of power.
Power comes from a Perkins 1104D-44TG2, a turbocharged four cylinder 4.4 litre Stage IIIA engine running at 1500 RPM with electronic governor, driving a Leroy Somer LSA 42.3 L9 alternator at 400/230 V, three phase, with electronic regulation held inside 0.5 %, class H insulation and IP23 protection. The diesel genset alone delivers 66 kVA / 52.8 kW emergency standby and 60 kVA / 48 kW prime power.
The GRW67P hybrid generator is housed within a soundproof and weather-resistant enclosure, mounted on a heavy-duty fully bunded base frame incorporating the fuel tank and battery storage. The base retains 110 % of the set’s fluids and carries integrated fork pockets, a pull bar and a single lifting point, with 1000+ hour salt spray tested panels and powder coating. The design includes a comprehensive control panel with integrated Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for selecting operating modes and monitoring system performance, plus a leak proof tray with detector sensor, lube oil drain pump, six way fuel valve for external tank operation and a 266 litre internal metal tank with refilling points on both sides.

Is an automatic transfer switch (ATS) included?
No. An automatic transfer switch is not included unless it is listed in the product description above. Ozwide Power can supply a correctly rated ATS with the generator, so ask for a package price when you enquire.

How long will the GRW67P hybrid run on a full tank?
On diesel alone the 266 litre tank gives 22.93 hours at 75% prime power or 17.07 hours at full load, using 11.60 and 15.58 litres per hour. In ECO mode the battery carries light loads with the engine stopped, so real fuel use depends on the load profile.
What happens when the battery is flat?
The controller starts the diesel engine to carry the load and recharge the battery pack. In Full mode the battery also boosts the generator, giving up to 82 kVA / 70 kW for peak demand.
