The GPW45P trailer mounted generator is the rental specification of the GPW45P/FNE, delivering 49.5 kVA / 39.6 kW emergency standby and 45 kVA / 36 kW prime power from a Perkins 1103A-33TG1, a three cylinder, 3.3 litre, turbocharged, water-cooled engine running at 1500 RPM. Output is delivered through a brushless Mecc Alte ECP32 2S4 C alternator in series star at 400/230 V, 50 Hz, three phase, 0.8 power factor, with class H insulation, IP23 protection, 87.6% efficiency at full load and voltage regulation held inside 1%. Nominal current is 65 A behind an 80 A circuit breaker.

The canopy version is a weatherproof galvanised sheet metal enclosure with residential silencer and high quality soundproofing, giving 64 dB(A) at 7 metres and a guaranteed sound power level of 93 dB(A). Large lockable lateral doors open the unit up for service, and the welded steel baseframe carries anti-vibration mountings, screwed support legs, a crane handling hole and a single-point lifting bridge on the roof. The canopy measures 2200 x 1020 x 1313 mm and weighs 1017 kg. A Canopy Extra Silent version with additional soundproofing modules is available at 60 dB(A) at 7 metres, measuring 2200 x 1020 x 1904 mm and 1186 kg.

This build is supplied to trailer specification with the MRS manual remote start controller and an MBS battery isolator, configured for rental fleets and site power where the set is towed between jobs. Confirm the trailer, tank and socket panel fitted to the current stock unit when ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which control panel comes with a GPW generator?

GPW sets are supplied with either the MRS manual remote start panel, which adds an automatic mains failure start function, three phase mains measurement and a 50 event log, or the ACP automatic control panel with full AMF operation, detailed event and performance logging and optional remote control and I/O expansion modules. Specify the panel when ordering.

What enclosure versions are available?

Every GPW model is available as a standard canopy with residential silencer and galvanised weatherproof sheet metal, or as a Canopy Extra Silent version with additional soundproofing modules for city centre and noise-restricted sites.

How long will the GPW45P run on a full tank?

At 75% prime power it runs 9.85 hours on the 80 litre 8PFT internal tank, 8.00 hours on the 65 litre MFT-XS internal tank, 14.78 hours on the 120 litre MFT-S sub-base tank and 30.17 hours on the 245 litre MFT-M sub-base tank. Fuel consumption is 8.12 litres per hour at 75% load and 10.65 litres per hour at 100% load.

Is the GPW45P available in single phase?

The GPW45P is currently stocked as a three phase set only. A single phase version is coming soon, so contact Ozwide Power for availability.

Is an automatic transfer switch (ATS) included?

No. An automatic transfer switch is not included unless it is listed in the product description above. Ozwide Power can supply a correctly rated ATS with the generator, so ask for a package price when you enquire.
