The GPW20Y diesel generator is the Yanmar-engined 20 kVA class set in the GPW mobile range, built around a water-cooled Yanmar 4TNV88 Stage V engine running at 1500 RPM with mechanical governor. Output is delivered through a brushless Mecc Alte ECP28 M4 C alternator at 400/230 V, 50 Hz, three phase, 0.8 power factor, with class H insulation and IP23 protection. The unit supplied is the FS5 build (BF180TYAD01) with the ACP automatic control panel on a DSE7320 MKII controller and 32 A four pole breaker, battery isolator (MBS), galvanised skid base (GSB), quick fit fuel connectors (QFC), three way fuel valve (TWF), water separator filter (WSP), heavy-duty air filter (HDF), MFT-S sub-base fuel tank and external terminal board (ETB).

The canopy is a weatherproof galvanised sheet metal enclosure with residential silencer and high quality soundproofing, with large lockable lateral doors for service and a welded steel baseframe carrying anti-vibration mountings, screwed support legs and a crane handling hole. Frequently Asked Questions

Which control panel comes with a GPW generator?

GPW sets are supplied with either the MRS manual remote start panel, which adds an automatic mains failure start function, three phase mains measurement and a 50 event log, or the ACP automatic control panel with full AMF operation, detailed event and performance logging and optional remote control and I/O expansion modules. Specify the panel when ordering.

What enclosure versions are available?

Every GPW model is available as a standard canopy with residential silencer and galvanised weatherproof sheet metal, or as a Canopy Extra Silent version with additional soundproofing modules for city centre and noise-restricted sites.

Is an automatic transfer switch (ATS) included?

No. An automatic transfer switch is not included unless it is listed in the product description above. Ozwide Power can supply a correctly rated ATS with the generator, so ask for a package price when you enquire.
