Description
GLT SERIES – Lighting Towers
Compact. Manoeuvrable. Mains power on board.
The GLT6-A lighting tower is a compact, highly manoeuvrable six-lamp unit built to deliver powerful illumination, long operating times and easy site deployment. Six 320 Watt LED floodlights give a total output of 276,000 lumens across an illuminated area of 12,600 m² at one lux, making it well suited to construction, infrastructure projects, mining support, events and equipment rental fleets.
An 8 kVA 230/240 V alternator runs the lamps and also feeds two 16A single phase outlet sockets, so the unit can power site equipment as well as light the area. A 16A inlet plug lets the tower run from an external supply when one is available. A three cylinder Kubota D1105 returns up to 140 hours from the 200 litre tank, with an average sound pressure level of 63 dB(A) at 7 metres.
The mast lifts hydraulically and rotates through 340 degrees. Designed around a compact footprint, the GLT6-A combines lighting performance with simplified transport and servicing. Wide-access seagull-wing doors provide easy maintenance access, while the foldable drawbar and road trailer configuration make transport between sites straightforward and efficient.
Control is through a DSE L401-MKII digital controller, and the plastic fuel tank has integrated liquid containment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the GLT6-A and the GLT6-A DC?
The GLT6-A runs an 8 kVA 230/240V alternator, produces 276,000 lumens over 12,600 m² and runs up to 140 hours. It also has two 16A outlet sockets, so it can power site equipment as well as light the area. The GLT6-A DC runs its floodlights from a 2.4 kVA 48V DC alternator, produces 345,600 lumens and runs up to 200 hours, but has no mains outlet sockets. Choose this unit if you need power on site, and the DC unit for maximum light output and run time.
