LP SERIES – Solar Lighting Towers
No fuel. No engine. No cabling.
The LP Solar Street Light is a portable lighting tower with an 80 Wp solar panel and a self-igniting 60 Watt LED floodlight. It puts out 12,000 lumens at 200 Lm/W and covers 950 m at one lux, with no engine, no fuel and no mains connection, so there is nothing to refuel, service or make noise on site.
A darkness sensor turns the light on by itself once ambient light drops below 10 lux. In Eco mode a motion sensor holds the lamp at 30 percent and lifts it to 100 percent for one minute whenever someone passes within 3.5 metres of the base, which stretches the LiFePO4 battery to 25 hours. In Full mode the lamp stays at 100 percent for 8 hours. The battery recharges in 7 hours, and a power cable is included for emergency charging when there has not been enough sun.
The galvanised mast is raised by a double hand winch with an anti-rotation security system and autobrake, and rotates through 340 degrees. The floodlight tilts to three working positions plus a transport position, and is IP66 rated. The galvanised base has tie down points, forklift pockets on each side, a central lifting point and one lockable door.
Wind resistance is 80 km/h as standard, or 110 km/h with the optional retractable stabilisers fitted. Operating range is -20 to +60 degrees. Suited to car parks, footpaths and walkways, roadworks, temporary site access, events, remote compounds and anywhere a light is needed without running a cable or a generator.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Eco mode and Full mode?
In Eco mode the motion sensor is active and the lamp sits at 30 percent power, rising to 100 percent for one minute when it detects movement within 3.5 metres of the base. That gives up to 25 hours from a charge. In Full mode the motion sensor is off and the lamp stays at 100 percent, which gives 8 hours. Eco mode suits overnight security and passive areas, Full mode suits active work areas.
What happens after a run of overcast days?
A power cable is supplied for emergency charging from a mains supply, so the unit can be topped up when solar input has not been enough. Full recharge takes 7 hours.
Does it need to be anchored?
