Description
Pramac GGW100G – 100 kVA Natural Gas Generator
Generac gas engine. Mecc Alte output. Ready as long as the gas is on.
The GGW100G gas generator delivers 100 kVA / 80 kW emergency standby and 90 kVA / 72 kW prime power from a Generac V8, 8900 cm³, naturally aspirated natural gas engine running at 1500 RPM with electronic ignition, 9.9:1 compression ratio and stoichiometric rich-burn combustion controlled by an exhaust lambda sensor. Output is delivered through a brushless Mecc Alte ECP34-1M/4C alternator at 400/230 V, 50 Hz, three phase, 0.8 power factor, with class H insulation, IP23 protection and DSR digital voltage regulation held inside 1%. Nominal current is 128.28 A, maximum 144.34 A, behind a 160 A circuit breaker. The engine needs an operating gas pressure of 1.7 to 4.0 kPa and draws 28.6 standard cubic metres of natural gas an hour at full standby load.
The canopy version is a galvanised sheet metal enclosure with high performance sound absorbing material, gasketed doors on steel hinges, wrapped exhaust piping, an exhaust silencer mounted in the upward facing discharge hood and a bottom power cable outlet, giving 68 dB(A) at 7 metres and a guaranteed sound power level of 97 dB(A). The canopy measures 3090 x 1130 x 1790 mm and weighs 1622 kg; the open version measures 2606 x 1122 x 1488 mm and weighs 1082 kg.
The GGW100G is controlled by a Deep Sea Electronics DSE G8600 controller in place of the Power Zone Pro, with an MPP modular parallel panel available as an option. At prime load it draws 21 standard cubic metres of natural gas an hour at 75% and 26.5 at 100%.

Frequently Asked Questions
What gas pressure does a GGW generator need?
The operating fuel pressure and the gas consumption at each load are listed in the tables above for this model. Confirm supply pressure and capacity with your gas fitter before installation.
Can it be paralleled or connected to a transfer switch?
Yes. An automatic transfer switch (ATS) is available as an accessory, and the four pole circuit breaker (TIF), remote signalling contacts (TLP) and remote connection kit with antenna (RCG) are optional on the control panel.
How much gas does the GGW100G use?
At full standby load it draws 28.6 standard cubic metres of natural gas an hour, falling to 22.9 at 75% standby load. At prime rating the figures are 26.5 and 21 sm³/h, based on a reference gas of 0.73 kg per standard cubic metre and 38 MJ higher heating value. Supply pressure must be 1.7 to 4.0 kPa at the inlet.
Is an automatic transfer switch (ATS) included?
No. An automatic transfer switch is not included unless it is listed in the product description above. Ozwide Power can supply a correctly rated ATS with the generator, so ask for a package price when you enquire.
