The GSW22P three phase diesel generator delivers 22 kVA / 17.6 kW emergency standby and 20.01 kVA / 16.01 kW prime power from a Perkins 404A-22G1, a four cylinder, 2.2 litre, naturally aspirated, water-cooled engine with mechanical governor and 12 V electric start. Output is delivered through a brushless Mecc Alte ECP28-M4 C alternator at 400 V, 50 Hz, three phase, 0.8 power factor, with class H insulation, IP23 protection, digital DSR voltage regulation held inside 1% and 88.2% efficiency at 75% load. Maximum current is 31.76 A behind a 32 A circuit breaker.

The soundproof canopy keeps noise to 65 dB(A) at 7 metres with a guaranteed sound power level of 94 dB(A). The unit measures 1800 x 850 x 1260 mm and weighs 706 kg dry.

The 68 litre plastic fuel tank with rotary fuel pump runs 17.22 hours at 75% prime power and 12.88 hours at full load. Control panel options are the MCP manual panel with analogue instrumentation, the MPF manual panel full option with enhanced instrumentation, or the ACP automatic control panel with digital control unit. The standard socket kit on the MCP panel is one 3P+N+T CEE 400 V 32 A, one 3P+N+T CEE 400 V 16 A, two 2P+T CEE 230 V 16 A and one 230 V 16 A SCHUKO outlet; the MPF panel carries the same 400 V and 230 V CEE outlets in IP67 with an IP68 SCHUKO.

Can the GSW be used for automatic standby?

Is an automatic transfer switch (ATS) included?
