Description
Pramac GGW35G – 35 kVA Natural Gas Generator
Generac gas engine. Mecc Alte output. Ready as long as the gas is on.
The GGW35G gas generator delivers 35 kVA / 28 kW emergency standby and 32 kVA / 26 kW prime power from a Generac 4 in line, 4450 cm³, naturally aspirated natural gas engine running at 1500 RPM with electronic ignition, 9.94:1 compression ratio and stoichiometric rich-burn combustion controlled by an exhaust lambda sensor. Output is delivered through a brushless Mecc Alte ECP32 1S/4C alternator at 400/230 V, 50 Hz, three phase, 0.8 power factor, with class H insulation, IP23 protection and DSR digital voltage regulation held inside 1%. Nominal current is 46.19 A, maximum 50.56 A, behind a 50 A circuit breaker. The engine needs an operating gas pressure of 1.7 to 3.5 kPa and draws 10.3 standard cubic metres of natural gas an hour at full standby load.
The canopy version is a galvanised sheet metal enclosure with high performance sound absorbing material, gasketed doors on steel hinges, wrapped exhaust piping, an exhaust silencer mounted in the upward facing discharge hood and a bottom power cable outlet, giving 67 dB(A) at 7 metres and a guaranteed sound power level of 96 dB(A). The canopy measures 2760 x 1130 x 1810 mm and weighs 1250 kg; the open version measures 2270 x 1100 x 1490 mm and weighs 895 kg.
The Power Zone Pro controller is an integrated genset control platform, NFPA 110 Level 1 compliant, with engine and alternator protective functions, digital engine governor control, programmable inputs and outputs, remote display capability, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP and 10/100 Ethernet communication, alarm and event logging with real time stamping, remote wireless software updates and BMS telemetry. The 4.3 inch resistive colour touch screen shows three phase voltage, current, kW, kVA and kVAr, frequency, engine speed, coolant temperature, oil pressure and temperature, battery voltage, hours, warnings, alarms, diagnostics and maintenance events. Protections cover high and low oil pressure, coolant level and temperature, oil temperature, over total kW, over and under speed, voltage and frequency, over current, battery voltage and charger current, and phase to phase and phase to neutral short circuits, with a three pole circuit breaker and emergency stop button.

Frequently Asked Questions
What gas pressure does a GGW generator need?
The operating fuel pressure and the gas consumption at each load are listed in the tables above for this model. Confirm supply pressure and capacity with your gas fitter before installation.
Can it be paralleled or connected to a transfer switch?
Yes. An automatic transfer switch (ATS) is available as an accessory, and the four pole circuit breaker (TIF), remote signalling contacts (TLP) and remote connection kit with antenna (RCG) are optional on the control panel.
How much gas does the GGW35G use?
At full standby load it draws 10.3 standard cubic metres of natural gas an hour, falling to 8.2 at 75% load, 6.3 at 50% load and 2.95 at 25% load, based on a reference gas of 0.73 kg per standard cubic metre and 37.6 MJ higher heating value. Supply pressure must be 1.7 to 3.5 kPa at the inlet.
Is an automatic transfer switch (ATS) included?
No. An automatic transfer switch is not included unless it is listed in the product description above. Ozwide Power can supply a correctly rated ATS with the generator, so ask for a package price when you enquire.
